Mission. My research is centered around the combination of deep tractable probabilistic models and symbolic reasoning to discover explanatory factors and relations among unstructured noisy data such as text documents and images. We combine ideas from probability theory and statistics with logic and neural modeling to build truly understanding machines.

Bio. I'm a PhD student of Machine Learning at the Computer Science Department of the TU Darmstadt University, Germany. Currently, I'm part of the project KompAKI. Previously, I’ve been also part of AIPHES (TU Darmstadt, HITS, Heidelberg University), a Research Training Group mainly focused on Natural Language Processing on large-scale text sources.
